World of Warcraft - Starter Edition for Mac

World of Warcraft or WoW is by far the most popular massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) with over 10 million subscribers since 2011. It is developed by Blizzard Entertainment and is the 4th game set in the Warcraft Universe taking off after Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne.

You can play World of Warcraft for free on your Mac, this is called World of Warcraft Starter Edition. It let's you play your character to level 20 to try out the game before committing to a paid subscription. Other restrictions to the Starter Edition include:  the inability to trade, use of public chat channels, ability to join guilds, or earn more than ten gold per character.
